Housing
Did you know that 1% of the United States’ population is homeless at any given time? That accounts for 361,000 people in California alone (2007 Monterey County Homeless Census and Survey). Where would you go if you suddenly lost your home? For those living with HIV/AIDS in our community, John XXIII housing assistance programs are here to provide stability and an environment that fosters good health.
Our clients come from all walks of life. Some were born with HIV and others acquired the virus as adults. We help men, women, families, people of all ethnicities and sexual orientations. All of those receiving housing assistance are low or very low-income. Each year, we help over 250 individuals and families with at least one form of housing or supportive assitance which includes:

- Transitional Housing (18 months or Less)
- Congregate (Group) Living
